Hello Mustang lovers:

Today is a good day. I leave my office this afternoon and drive the 2 miles over to my dealer. I pull in and notice a car carrier unloading. As I get closer I notice the only mustang on the bottom level. Its Windveil Blue and a GT, could it be true, after 7 weeks of waiting. I walk over to look at the window sticker, and yes my friend it is my VIN and I see my name
I am so stoked at this point, I go back and get the camera and start shotting away. I have seen others post on here with pictures of their car on a carrier, but what is the odds. Anyway I pick up the car tomorrow evening. I have my photo on that other thread where people are pictured with their cars, soon I will post me and the car together. Man this feels good. All of us that order our cars have to wait, but the day does come and the waiting is but a memory

nice car, it would have been funny (for us at your expense) if the carrier guy banged it up in front of you

I kinda wondered if I was making him nervous while he was backing it off, He did fine thought. We actually talked a little while before he pulled it off. he actually thought I was a salesman and not the cars future owner.

I know that feeling and it is an awesome one. I had stopped in at the dealer to get an update on the delivery time. The guy said 2 weeks so I was bummed. As I was driving out of the dealership a transport pulled up with 1 car on it. A sonic blue GT and I thought to myself, self, you are the only one at this dealer that ordered a blue one. So I went over and sure enough the VIN was mine. I walked in and said to the salesman "Man that was a quick 2 weeks, gimme my car". He was stumped until I pointed to the car.

Anyway, congrats, good luck and enjoy.

Is your name really on the window sticker?
Is everyone's that way that ordered their car?

Stangnut, I would have to assume, which I hate doing, that if you order your car your name is on the sticker. I say that only because my name is and have no other basis for my reason.

Sixtysix thanks man, I wish your arrived as well. Hey you notice that I posted those picks on the web site you used the other day. I thought it was a real cool and easy way to post mult. pics.

Oh, you mean that site that sits on my server, that I put up, and is in my signature? Yeah I noticed

Glad to see people start to make use of it! And glad to hear how easy you thought it was, that was my goal!

Never thought of it that way. But it is a cool little record of the mileage "2.2miles". So if someone desides to go joy riding before tomorrow, I could ask a few questions right
