I'm going insane like some of you with the interior color options. I'm looking for a plain old, all black interior. Black seats, black carpet, black floor mats, black door panels, black dash, etc.

I ordered a GT Premium with IUP (charcoal panel) and Premium Trim (dark charcoal with black floor mats). Premium Trim offers 4 color combos: blk/parchment, blk/dove, blk/red, blk/chamois or all dark charcoal. Am I right or wrong on this?

I don't want a 2-tone interior so someone set me straight. Is the best I can do is get the dark charcoal leather seats as its ordered now? Is there anyway to get an all black interior including seats?

If not, those of you who have dark charcoal seats...do they look close enough to black that you will never notice they really aren't black?

 

If you ordered it without premier trim it would be all black (charcoal)

 

I believe that it will be all black with the PTP as well. This was just a way to order all balck with the rest of the PTP.

 

Is dark charcoal considered the same as black? To me dark charcoal is dark gray. Close to black but not coal black.

Don't you think Ford could have made the interior options easier to figure out? Or better yet, offer plain old BLACK seats.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures but my 05 torch red has the dk charcoal and it sure looks black to me. Saw an 06 GT vert triple black on the lot and the dk charcoal looked GREAT. Just got my order number for my 07 "triple black vert" today so will be checking ERL for status updates.

 

I ordered mine with Dark Charcoal and PTP; the only reference to any other color on the VOC is black floormats. I do hope it comes in with an all black interior, and I am probably stressing over nothing but I am worried that it is going to have some lighter colored seats or something to spoil the interior. Can someone alleviate my insecurities?

 

From the pictures I've seen it's all black. What color instrument panel did you go with? Satin or charcoal?

Very SWEET! So how did you decide on the charcoal dash over the satin? Were you going for dark/dark? Do you have more pictures of the interior?

I'm trying to decide if I go with Torch Red and dark charcoal interior do I want the contrast of the satin dash or the charcoal dash...

 

I have dark charcoal leather seats and I would say they are pretty black, I am sure you won't tell the difference until you compare it with some really black leather....They are wonderful, just take dark charcoal leather....

I chose the satin panel and I think it matches the other aluminum pieces in the premier trim package pretty well.

 

"Charcoal" is Ford's name for their near-black interior. It looks very close to black in color, but it is not pitch black in appearance. It looks great. Ford does not offer a "black" interior option.

I ordered my 07 with charcoal interior (IUP & PTP), and had the seats redone on arrival. In the attached photos, the seat bodies are Katzkin "dark graphite" and the front headrests are stock Ford "charcoal." The Katzkin color, by design, is a dead match for the Ford color.
