im alittle confused with the IUP. does the standard deluxe v6 come with the 125 color my color? also, whats' the difference of the deluxe and premium? what does the v6 interior look like w/out the IUP? any pics? the audio...does it come stock with the shaker 500 with subs and mp3 capability? i looked through the forums and dodge page an di think know the answers to my questions, but i just want to make sure.

 

Hmmm...the short answer to your questions....no the deluxe v6 does not just come with the My Color feature...that's included with the Interior Upgrade Package. Stock is a "premium stereo"...not the shaker. Difference between deluxe and premium is premium comes with leather and shaker 500 standard.

aw so the premium doens't come with the 125 lights either huh. all i want in my car is leather and shaker 500...so i guess im taking the premium, but i want my gauges to be red :3( oh well, thanks a lot for the fast reply. i think im gonn abe going to the dealership this monday, hopefuly i can get a good deal.

 

On a side note, I could've sworn I saw a V6 '05 on a truck in front of the Ford dealership down the street from me while I was coming home tonight. I made a u-turn, and right when I pulled up, the truck disappeared behind a building... :bang:

 

The bad thing is too... if you want side airbags, you HAVE to get the aluminum dash package... which kinda... bites.

I dont like the aluminum... I'd rather have the fake leather-looking dash

Expecially with Gray/Blue outside and Dark Charcoal inside... but thats just me.

I like the upgraded wheels and the shaker 500... but im not sure I'll get it, because it would be the same price as the premium anyway....

The V6 Premium does not come with leather.

V6 premium adds:
Shaker 500
Machined Al wheels with spinners
Power 6-way driver's seat

If you want the 125 color "MY COLOR" dash, you'll need the IUP, which costs an extra $400 to the invoice price.

If I were you, I'd also add the anti-lock brake option for $700. I know it seems like a lot, but when you're driving in the rain and the guy in front of you slams on his brakes... I guaranteee you'll wish you had it!

so with out IUP the lights in the gauges are green? thats kind of ugly, is it possilbe to ask the dealer to change it to red? you think they'll do that for me?

 

No. They can be changed if you get the IUP package. If you don't have the IUP, you cant change it unless you go aftermarket.
