What Do You Think of Dub Fender Vents?
I have a V6 convertible with 18" Deep Dish Bullitts and no badge on the front fenders. I'm wondering what folks think of a single Dub Fender Vent on each fender - the kind typically shown on a Tahoe or Chrysler 300.

Look, this is my fifth Mustang ('67 Fastback, '65 289 c4 convertible, '66 289 c4 convertible, '71 302 convertible before this one) so I'm clear on what I want. I'm trying to decide whether to stay with the clean look (nothing on the fender) or a OEM running pony badge or something else. This is not a GT wannabe car so I'm not putting a GT badge on it. Just looking for something in the space that is appropriate.

IMO I like adding things from the past. Being that Mustangs never had a fender vent I think it would look out of place. This is just my opinion and if you like the look definitely go for it. Personally I like the tri-bar pony on the fenders or powered by ford emblem. Whatever you do post a pic and share with the rest of us.
Maybe this helps? http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...ems-And-Badges

IMO, they look really tacky. I like the tribar pony emblem. If you want it to be a little different, I've seen someone who used finger nail polish remover on the bars of his emblem to reveal the black underneath. Here's a picture:

same here. back in 06 I wrote bfg to see why the old t/a radials dont come in 17", they said they are usually speed rated, and cant make a white lettered sidewall with the z ratings, plus- liabilities wont let them install a lower speed tire than oem.
wonder what tire that is?
on the stick on ports, to each his own, but definitely NOT for me
