What do you think?

Well my 07 GT is pretty much stock in my eyes. It has H&R lowering springs (for looks), drop-in K&N filter and JBA axle-backs. Performance wise that is it. I'm in Olathe KS (KCMO) and I finally bought a tuner just to see how much it would help me in the 1/4. As the car sits I was stuck in the 13.80's pretty consistant 13.85 but my best was 13.82 @ 101. We'll I bought the SCT X3 and used the 91 tune that came with it. Before the tune the car put down 261.55 whp and 278.98 wtq, after the tune it put 272.95 whp and 296.24 wtq. So I gained 11.4 rwhp & 17.76 rwtq. Took it to the track a few days later and ran a new best... 13.52 @103 w/a 2.096 60ft. on stock tires, I shaved .30 off just from a can tune. I know there are stock cars out there that ran these times and better bone stock, but I was wondering what everyone thought. I think its pretty good and others around here this so too for what very little I have done to the car. But, what do you all think?

Thanks.

No CAI for me... Doing a turbo setup this winter/spring.

I love the springs. They ride pretty good, stiffer than stock and actually helped out on my 60ft. times. They dropped the car 1.8 in the front and 1.7 in the rear.

Bettering your time was exceptional, but remember that some of that is just you getting better with the car. If you hadn't changed a thing you could have had a .1 better time. I say do another few passes, sans mods, and see if it gets better. I got mine down into the 13.20s with minimal mods, but I have seen people turn better times with a lightly modded car.

I love my JBA's. They have a nice deep tone and not to loud... until you give it full throttle anyways. Hardly any drone at all. I had thought about changing them but cant bring myself to do it cause the sound is so distinct.

Well congrats for $370 you did a pretty good drop, imagine if for every $400 we spent we could drop .3's of the 1/4 that would be sweet and there would be some fast cars....lol

yeah well... I race in a heads-up racing series and have had more than 50 passes in the car and 13.80's was pretty much all the car would run so I beg to differ on your statemen about getting better with the car. I run a pretty consistant 2.0?? - 2.1?? 60 ft times. It was the tune that helped.

Thank you all for your thoughts.

My first time ever down the 1320 was in my 2007 GT. My best run of the day was 13.7x @103. This was with a Brenspeed 91 XCal 2 tune and CAI loaded and manual trans with 3.55 gears. My buddy with the same setup plus pulleys, FRPP GTA's and a MGW short throw shifter ran 13.6x @ 104. We both had traction issues at launch and slicks or drag radials would've helped quite a bit.
