I've gotten so many complements this evening I'm not quite sure what to say back. I usually wave, say thanks. I'm really thinking, "I Know." What do you guys say?

In most of the cases I say "thanks", but every now and then don't really know what to say, because their initial remark isn't "nice car", but "nice Ferrari!". Although this kinda stopped since I installed the trunklid letters.

 

A "Thank You" is a good answer.

 

are You serious? in Poland when somebody had a red Firebird,people used to say 'look,a Ferrari!',but I don't imagine anyone calling Mustang a Ferrari.
Mustang ofcourse looks as nice as some Ferraris ,but a bit different

 

It's usually kids, reacting to the front pony.

"I know" is exactly what they say. Might as well be honest. I feel it is nice and obviously so do they so I dont hide the truth. But I also usually ask them if they want to check it out.

 

I always say "Thanks, or Thank you, with an "I appreciate it", and a smile. Never want to offend someone, and make them think I am some sort of pompous A$$ with a nice car.

 

While this is what I might be thinking, I usually just say "Thanks, I love it."

**** rednecks. I'm in the Panhandle, and they're everywhere here too. I don't have to worry about getting picked up though.
