Hi-
My dealership just drove a GT off the truck with more than I wanted.
Windveil Blue GT Premium, IUP, 17 in wheels, active anittheft, Wheel locking kit, side air bags, Auto. The dealer quoted me 27,024 plus tax, tag, and title. What do you all think of the price? It was soo hard to get in my Civic and drive away.
Thanks,
Diane

Not a bad price but you could do better. Take a look at the invoice prices and look at the possible markup.

It looks like he quoted you MSRP on a GT Premium with those options. Tell them u want if for 27,500 out the door (including tags and tax). Depending on where u the taxes where u live, that should be about 500 under msrp. Unless of course u are happy with msrp. It's up to u and how bad u want it.

are they the bullits or optional wheels?
No ICAP I take it?
Seems to be right on the money for MSRP if they are the bullits.
Heck it has IUP, I'd ****** it up if its what you want.
Price depends on your area, how hard is it to find a dealer that isnt marking them up over MSRP?
Here in SD that would be a steal right now, and wouldnt last 5 minutes on the lot, but if your in an area that has a dealer that is willing to deal, you could get a better price, under normal market conditions, never pay MSRP for a car, but this one is hot and the dealers are taking advantage and gouging so the market is not normal. I'd try to see what they say to 26,000, they might meet you half way and then you got a great deal. Cant hurt.

Diane.... I bought mine for MSRP of $28,400. It sounds like the same pkg. as you just got quoted, except no side-bags. I did get ICAP though. B) I think this is a good price if the car is how you want it

Diane, for $500 here or there I'd go get it. Is $500 worth the wait (months). Trust me......you'll forget how much you paid the SECOND you start her up.

Sometimes the best bargin doesn't make for the best experience. I have a feeling your gut is saying buy it......so grab your keys and go already! LOL.

Well said, Dan!

I paid MSRP for mine a couple of weeks ago and never looked back. This is after never paying more than $100 over invoice for any of my previous 10 vehicles.

I get my moneys worth every time I look at it. Driving it is just a bonus!

Dan, My gut, my husband, my sister, my friends are all saying buy it. I've been driving them crazy about this car. I 've been wanting one since last April and picked out Windveil the second I saw it. Thanks for your input.

At this point, if it's close to what you're willing to pay, go for it. You can try to haggle down a bit and see if the dealer bites, but they really have no incentive to. I ended up with a few options I wouldn't have ordered (shaker 1000 mostly), but now that I have them I'm glad I do.

I'm really impressed with the patience the people around here have with their orders... I think the wait may have killed me lol
