Need some help here guys. I'm torn what to do first. I really want to change the wheels and tires, but I don't mind the way the factory ones look. If I change the wheels and tires right away discount will buy the tires back. I'm getting the standard wheels right now.

I also, want to get the engine going so I can of course smoke the competition.

Help.... :worship:

I would wait it out and see what comes along for the next 4 months or so.

I honestly would leave the car alone. Like the old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Um, if I had two grand, I'd put more down on the thing so it wouldn't cost me as much per month...

But I understand, you want my opinion on what you should do. I say, you need more choices, and put mine down for painting it Emberglo.

Oh, all right. Engine mods. Geez.

I'm already putting down $10,000 so I don't need to put any more down.

It will be tinted all around. Trust me us Texans know about heat.

Yes we do. First thing for mine as well. Darkest legal all 'round.

Y'know, that's one thing I won't miss about my Mark VIII, now that it's stolen. Leather seats in H-Town. Ugh. Pour me in a bucket...

Your opening comments make your decision for you: you don't mention the car looking cool so you can impress anyone you pass. You seem fine with the wheels you're getting. You want to smoke the competition. You spend the 2K on the engine obviously. HOWEVER. I agree you should wait until after SEMA at least to see what the major houses are planning. Also, find out what engine mods will do to your warranty!

And do your racing on the track. The other car on the road might be mine!

Not stressing the warranty so much since all that is handled in house. I am still waiting for Sema, I'm just one of those people that like to plan things out. Still don't have a car yet. Build week of Nov1st.
