I'd get the 05 but if you changed colours you obviously had a reason.

I decided to go with the 2005 instead of waiting for the 2006. I've waited since I ordered in February and to wait any longer seems absurd. Should have the GT Vert by the end of July!

Sounds like you've decided and are an official fellow member of the July 18 build week. It's gonna be a great week. Would be even better if we got bumped up to the end of June.

It almost doesn't seem real, it has been so long. The other plus is that there will be a lot of summer left up here in the Northwest!

I'm looking for fall. Perfect vert weather around here. August is hot and muggy. September into October is great!

good kuck on getting yer 05 order!, I just talked to my dealer and got the news that I have to move on into an 06, I ordered in Jan!!, oh well, the good part is the 18" wheels, the bummer is no more MG color, so I am going to get the Tungsten...hope it is as good as the say it is.
Now its just sit back and wait some more...aaargh

BTW, dealer was able to move me into an 06 on the top of his list, and I did the order change over the phone, order is the same except for the color.
I still get the 06 for $500 over invoice.

Actually, I have a July 18 build week confirmed for the 05. I had given up and also ordered an 06 last week. Both deals were about $1500 under MSRP so I think it was fair both ways. Should have the 05 by the end of July. Ordered a set of the 17" Polished Bullitts with tri-bar Pony spinners today from Kevin at Clevenger Ford. The toughest part was choosing between the 05 and 06. Not quite Sophie's Choice, but..................

I'd wait to see where the '06 stands when the '05 is shipped.
If it's going to be close, I would take the '06. It will have less bugs to work out... Plus, while a first year car sometimes has more value than a similar car of a later year, I don't think it makes much difference on a modern car. Five years from now, an '06 won't be worth more than an '04. The '94 model was really hot when it came out, now it's no more valuable than a '95 or '96.
