i live in deep south texas and during the summer it is real dusty sometimes....
all i want to know should i stay with red or go to black.
i mean i love the way black looks
but it is real dusty here and i have seen some of the mods on the red's and they look sweet.
another question i have is that if the Colorado Red is going to look anything like the Torch Red?

Stay with red. With all that dust flying aroung a black car will never look as good as it should.

People get afraid of black. Most will say it looks the best. I went with black.

I like the look of the 05 in black the best. the dark red was my second choice when i ordered it. being that you live where its dusty, the black will always look dirty. i would go with the red.

What exactly does Colorado Red look like?

And while we're on the subject.... what does Ebony look like?

I think you have some time to think about it, I would wait until you can actually see the colors on the car.

Well my two cents is that I would go with RED. And that has nothing to do with my Torch Red I ordered....

I would have suggested that too, not b/c mine is white, but it is much easier to maintain a clean appearance with all the dust mine is subjected to. However between ebony and red I think red will be easier to keep clean.

It is? I don't think my insurance company even asks about the color of the car. Are you just yankin our chains?

Red is easier to see at high speed on the road so it makes sense that they get more tickets. Silver and white are probably the least likely to be spotted.

No wait, you mean more tickets, higher insurance? Now I got ya!

SO if you drive mostly during the day and don't like to wash your car a lot get white! And if you drive mostly at night and don't mind washing get black!

Honestly, neither. I mean red is everywhere. You see one almost everytime you turn around. One day I saw 7 Stangs not including mine 6 were red & the other was white. That's actually 8 to 1 if you wanna include my Uncles red stang I also saw that day. So no red. And black only is you love dirt. My 96 was black & it drove me crazy trying to keep it clean.

But those are JMO. Really I say go for whichever you absolutly LOVE. It's ultimentaly your decision & you are the one who has to drive it. But then again like someone else has already pointed out, I thin you have a while to think it over before you make the final decision.

So Good Luck with whatever you choose. Cheersmates

It won't matter what color you get, if you love it, you'll keep it up! :spin:
