Here is this weeks commodities report. Still no new news on the IUP.
2005 Mustang
Interior Upgrade Pkg. 0%
Total GT 80%
Convertible 22%
There are no controls on the Interior Sport Appearance Package. We strongly encourage all dealers to order their GT allocation with the Interior Sport Appearance Package (18R).

Thanks Karpro!
Hope to see some cars with IUP being build this month or next.
My Dora was process 12/1, so still have not got VIN.
Think I'll call dealer and see what's up!
Thanks again! Happy Trails!!

There is still mass confusion on the IUP build dates for Jan. If you have a build date for January w/IUP will it be built or pushed back to February?

Thanks for the update Paul. I guess it's time to start searching for a suitable stock unit somewhere.

Thanks...again. Your weekly report IMO is one of the few factual items regarding the IUP issue. For us folks scheduled in January, would appear it doesn't mean anything. If I recall correctly, think you may have some info regarding Feb builds after 1/13.

Brad should make Paul's weekly report sticky. At least until we find out when IUP is back.

More confusion for me. I just called Ford customer service to get an update. They said the system now shows my car has "gone to production". I asked him to verify the order had the IUP and he said "Yes, that's what the system is showing". So I asked if he was sure and he repeated the IUP features back to me including myColor and said that is what the system is showing my car being built with.
I guess time will tell now.
Karpro, I do appreciate your updates. It's just this whole IUP thing is pretty confusing.

Just to make it even more confusing, we've been building alot of V6's w/ full IUP (no joke) and at the same time, alot of GT w/out even the IUP-lite. And no verts as of last week, at all.
Will let you guys know what we're building this week. BTW, both shifts worked last Sat., off this Sat., work the next 2. John

this may seem like a somewhat silly question but i just have to ask.Is it possible for my car to be built w/out the IUP/mycolor? Even though my dealer has not said anything to me about changing my order or anything...I am just incredably worried that i have been waiting all this time and my car is going to get here and the IUP/mycolor is not going to be in it!

Hey John slip my GT in with the V6s there!
My date keeps being pushed back, but it's good to see that IUP is not extinct.
Thanks Paul and John, your updates are a valuable asset to this forum.

Just talked to my salesmanager today, and he said the Satin Silver that I ordered on Nov. 1st, has been built (prior to the IUP hold) and should be here before before the end of the month.
It has been sold already (sight unseen), and I asked him to give me a call when it arrives just so I can see what I ordered......even though I bought a Torch Red from them instead on 11-29-04

I have absolutely no grounds for making the above statement but lets run it up the flagpole and see if Elvis salutes it.
