I was just wondering how often you guys would check the status of your stang while waiting for it. even if you are still waiting for yours. how often would you phone, e-mail and visit your dealer for info?

 

ERL only updates once a week, so no more than that.

 

ERL every thurs. night-fri. morning till my order got pulled. Then every few days till I got a build date. Now that my car was supposed to be built last week and the ERL is stuck in "scheduled to be built week of 8/15" mode I've been calling every night after 12 hoping for an update.

Anybody know how long after your car is built the ERL updates?

 

As of 8/17 my car was scheduled to be built the week of 8/15. I called friday the 19th and the ERL still said that. I went out of town and came back Sunday night and made a call again. Now it said as of 8/18 my car has been built and shipped already. I don't remember her exact words. So that means she didn't update until about 3 days after it was built for me.

 

My dealer called me twice (once for build date, once for confirmed shipping). Had a buddy that just happened to swing by when the truck pulled up to tell me it was there.

I didn't call and bug the dealer or robot lady, mostly because I knew it wouldn't speed the process along at all.

Got it in 10 weeks, just like the dealer said.

 

I keep asking KZINTI every FRI night for an update

 

I'm still c/u, so every Friday.

 

i have to check tonight. the first time i called i spoke to the evil lady and she told me im scheduled for the 29th. the second time i called i spoke to a live person and she told me my car was going to ship on the 29th and be in Fla. by september 5th

 

Man, since I ordered mine... I haven't called the dealership at all.
They've called me twice and that was it... They said it should come in mid-September... We'll see...
My advice is... If anything is up, they'll call you... No use making them annoyed and then get yourself annoyed when ya' don't get what ya' wanna' here...:-p Patience is a vitrue

 

I never checked ERL, but once a week I would search dealer inventories online for every city with about 30,000+ people in all of AZ, CA, NV, UT, CO, NM, and TX. I found a couple that matched my order over my 3 month wait, but none of them would sell it to me for MSRP.

 

I had the same thing happen to me. Rep said "scheduled for the 5th". I said "arrival or build date?" She said, just says "scheduled".

Since I originally had a 8/29 build week, I suspect it simply got pushed back to the week of 9/5. If my car miraculously showed up on the 5th I'd be happier than a pig in poo.

I'm not expecting it though. ERL hasn't updated on me since August 4th.

 

That's the good thing about ERL. Nobody to annoy and it satisfies the jonesin for one more day.

 

Could someone tell me what the ERL number is? I've been waiting on my mustang since 3/29/2005 and i'm getting antcy. Or can you only call the ERL with a vin #, which I don't have yet.

I am starting to get concerned about my order, I ordered July 25 and ERL has yet to give me any info on my car. I called the dealer and he said that my car would be here the week of Sept 16 (only about 3 weeks away) and still nothing on ERL. Should I be worried?

 

Well, it's after 12 and hoping that my status changed I called our favorite Electronic Lady who sang the sweet song of my car being shipped. How nice of her. :banana2: :w00t:

 

Car is built and waiting to get it of the rail onto a truck, time will tell...
