Vote the Mustang for Reader's Choice award!
If you want to see a high-gloss photo of the 05 on the cover of Road and Track with the words "Car and Driver's Reader's Choice: The 2005 Mustang"....

This is what I had to say to them regarding the 05 Mustang. I mean no disrespect to any Mustang Owners by my last statement, regarding the 74-04 Mustang's and Mustang II's, this is just my own opinion, and I mean it in the sense of it's overall apearance, design and proportion........
The Quintessential Mustang, twenty-five years in the making! This car deserves all of the attention it draws. I have personally been behind the wheel of this Modern Pony/Muscle Car, several times, but haven't had the chance to drive it, yet each time it seemed to get better. The improvement, from the most recent 2004 Mustang, not only in Quality, but Fit, Finish, and Performance is remarkable. When you consider that Ford is making this available to the masses, for under Twenty-Thousand Dollars for a 200+ horsepower, V6, and under Twenty-five Thousand for a 300 horsepower, V8 GT, is nothing short of amazing! Of course, Last but not least, there is that well balanced collage of Mustang Memories, both classic and modern, that cannot be forgotten, nor mistaken for anything else on the road. I give credit to Jay Mayes for guiding his talented staff to give us the first Real Mustang since the 73 gave the reigns to the "Right for it's time" Mustang II, back in 74.
