Question Vortech V2-SQ Bad Bearing?

So I get in my car today after work - 06 GT. Car has been parked for about 8 hours. Start it up and this is what it sounds like

Vortech V2-SQ Bad Bearing

Car has never sounded like this before. Idle is perfect, and it runs smoothly. Bad bearing maybe??

I can check to see if the impeller is touching the cover or something, but again the car was parked the whole day.

I'm not sure as this is my first experience with forced induction so I'm not really sure what the next step is.

Stefferstang just had a bad bearing in her charger. You should ask her to listen to this and see if this is what hers sounded like

Thanks for the input.

It's never sounded like this before.
It was raining all day yesterday, so I'm hoping it was just condensation or something. Will check the oil tube to make sure it's plugged and the blower is getting the oil it needs.

Going to fire her up in about 30 minutes...keeping my fingers crossed

Well, fired her up and the blower sounds the same.
Next step is going to be taking the car to a local shop for inspection, most likely getting the blower removed and then getting it shipped to Vortech
My plans for new wheels just went out the window

just a opinion, but I wouldnt run any more than absolutely necessary with a bad bearing- aside from likely further damage, if a bearing is spun, any metal dust/bits thrown off the engine will eat it (dunno the setup, but would sure assume the filter is before the blower...)

^^ I agree with you.
The car has been parked since the blower got noisy. Just going to drive it to a local shop to get the blower removed and have it re-installed once I get it back from Vortech.
After inspecting it closer there is oil in and around the bracket and housing.
