I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem. My wife is short, only 5'1", I ordered my GT February 7th, when we test drove one in stock, she complained that she couldn't see anything out the front window except the sky. I'm looking for suggestions other than having her sit on a phone book, a pillow or a booster chair, lol. A height adjustment on the passenger side would be nice, but not available. Has anyone else noticed this problem or heard this complaint from shorter people in the passenger seat?

Feb. 7 ordered:
Black gt automatic
dark charcoal interior
side airbags
shaker 500
iup

I was told 6-10 weeks, the dealership is 2 miles from the factory. I'm still thinking that seems a bit too soon to be expecting.

my girl is 5'2", I hope she can see out of it

This might be a good thing too if nobody can see her leaning over the center console either

I am only 5'0 and driving I see out well. The seat is as high as it will go. When I am riding as a passenger, I find myself sitting on my foot to add the height. Of course that makes the air bag not recognize me unless i re-adjust.

My 5'2" 100# girlfriend can't see out either. That's OK because the first time I took her for a ride, I got sideways in 2nd gear and now her eyes are always closed anyway!

She doesn't register as a airbag candidate either - in my '05 GT or my '04 F-150. Not enough back yard. Time for a pizza!

Let me see if I understand this correctly. She is in the passenger seat and complains that she can't see anything but the sky? I'd say "tough". If she was driving that is a completely different story. My wife complains about the "blind spots" in the back but she doesn't even drive the car.

Passenger seats don't raise up. The only thing you can do is move it a little more forward.

I bought one of those beaded cab driver seat covers (it's actually pretty nice, has the beads on a nice thick backing which touches the seats) for the passenger side. It raises it up just enough so my wife can see out ok, along with moving the seat up about 3/4 of the way. She's 5'7" though, don't know what diff that would make to someone 5'1".

That is my better half's complaint also . There must be a reasonable fix that would add a couple if inches to the seat height . Hey Ford, how about it?

I'm with the "Who freakin cares, it's the passenger seat" crowd.

My wife is 5'0" and she hasn't made mention of it. The drivers seat adjusts just fine allowing her see everything she needs to when she's driving it.

Actually she did say something the other night. She said the passenger seat was in "cruiser mode" seat back, waaaay back. She also said, "it's kinda comfy, and I'm not drivin".

Now that's the spirit!

This is what I like to call "The mini van syndrome." :bang: It take place when the unknowing victim is subjected to not enought rides the the new Mustang and too many rides in a non storts car aka... :notnice: "the mini van". There is two known cures for this syndrome.

1. The first and least expensive is the "road trip." You take the patient to a Mustang show of at least 300 miles one way at a location of their choosing. This will give the victim time to adjust to the new surroundings and restore proper balance of mental stimulants.

2. The second and most expensive solution is "it take two to Tango" You take the patient to your local ford dealer and purchase a Mustang of their choosing. Then take the victim to Mustang show of at least 300 miles one way. This will give the victim time to adjust the seat and restore proper balance of mental stimulants.

Wifes in 5' tall, no complaints about visability from the passenger seat... with me as the only driver, i never have to worry.

Adjust the back rest a bit forward to see if that helps...
