Video of GRAYPNY tearing it up.. see it here! - Shelby GT/GT-H exhaust.
When you installed these mufflers did the buttons on the intermediate pipe line up with the U shape slots on the muffler pipes?
When I installed mine I could not get the drivers side button to line up correctly. I even loosend the the clamps at the H pipe. I am wondering if my intermediate pipe is incorrect.

Really not sure exactly what you are asking? I was in a hurry to get the mufflers put on when they arrived so I had a professional muffler man put them on. On the X-Pipe I had to loosen the drivers side at the header to get the X to side on correctly. Kind of a PITA but it worked out OK.
and twoscoops the mufflers are the Shelby GT made by Supreme Performance, not stock.
I met up with GRAYPNY today for a cup of coffee and general BS session. Brought the video camera to catch some Mustang GT action too. Now you can hear what the Shelby GT/GT-H exhaust sounds like on a manual tranny car with 4.10 gears! End credits feature my 2007 GT with stock exhaust. Hopefully everyone enjoys the video.

UPDATE: I recompiled the video file bringing the music volume down so you could better hear the exhaust.

I used Microsoft Movie Maker 2.1 to put it together, it's not nearly as sophisticated as something like Adobe Premiere but it gets the job done ok and is free!

We filmed the video in Yuba City (where I live) which is about 45 miles north of Sacramento.

So can any1 clue me in on how much louder the exhaust notes would be if I added the Xpipe onto the GTA's?
I have Bassani right now, and I think they are kinda loud, so you can use that as a reference point.

This is a pretty quiet setup as many have posted on other GTA topics. You can do a search and read all about them. If you are looking for loud then this isn't for you. Just slightly louder than stock but sounds great in my opinion at wot.
No I'm definately looking for quieter...which is why im selling my Bassani's. Is it true that Xpipes don't make the exhaust louder, just more "rushed" like Ferrari sounding exotics?
