I just want to be sure there WILL be a button to deactivate ( ) the traction control on the GT model. Can anyone confirm this?

Well, I saw the videos of the Mustang, and I saw them burning rubber going into second and getting squeels on the launches. So I would assume either YES, or it doesn't affect it that much.

Yes TC can be disabled via a button on the console. It always starts in "ON" By default, like the prior car. Mustang owners usually have a ritualistic one sweeping move on start up thats = buckle belt-push clutch-crisply turn the key-tag the TC button-wiggle the shifter My GF saw me do it a few times in one day while shopping and she said it looks like Im a fast robot ever time I start the car.

TC CAN be tricked sometimes, If you do a quick burnout that spins the tires over 30mph it will not activate(it disables at 35 and is less sensitive in first gear). It usually gets you at the drag strip, when you start and turn off your car over and over waiting in line. You do your burnout, then line up, and when the tree goes green, WHOOPS, sputter sputter sputter....... It takes a sec of spin in second to catch it too on dry pavement. Its much faster to react on wet pavement. I think its tuned pretty well, but WILL get cha if you are trying to wring it out with TC on.

I wish they had left the passenger seat eject button on the dash.

Will my mustang come with a spare key? Is that an option? Can I get On-Star incase my only key gets left in the car?

Thanks.

This should be standard equipment with the lighter dead center of the console:

All new cars have to come with 2 keys(electronic PATS keys require 2 for a consumer to be able to program additional keys). You can get a keyless entry pad for the side of the car if you are that careless Usually someone who locks their keys in the car locks the cell phone in there too, so how you gonna call on-star?

Heh, we all know that the original name of On-star was Blonde-star.

Um, hello, Blonde-star?

Yes, ma'am, how can we help you?

OK, I've locked... my keys... inside my car.

OK, ma'am, what is your current location?

I'm inside... my car.

I just want to be sure there WILL be a button to deactivate ( ) the traction control on the GT model. Can anyone confirm this?
I'm just wondering ... how can this be a "very important question" right at this moment?

Right On! :worship:

Why are people worrying about this. It's not like you're really gonna use it most of the time anyway. Traction Control makes the car less fun to drive anyways.
