I always liked the 67 and 68 stripes with the GT emblems. I toyed with using a vintage GTA emblem. I really didn't like the idea of using GT300 or GT350 lettering like most of the vendors sell. A local stripe shop cut the stripes for me, and left the gap for the GT emblems. When I removed the emblems, I cut the plastic pins off the back and re-attached them with 3M Trim Tape from AutoZone. Two years now, and now problems.

They can be a bit wild at times, but they are really good kids.
As a post father's day story, that pic (and my avatar) are from the day I brought home a rental 06 GT. Kids loved the vert and I had the music turned up for them (no shoes on the seats)to dance. I rented the car to get to and from Children's hospital as my daughter had a swelling in her cheek that was suspicious. Took over two weeks and three general anesthetic sessions for drainage and biopsy... docs were talking tumor. I shuttled in from half day work to be there for her when she went under each time. On the last drive in I did a little prayer and promised myself that if all was ok, I was going to buy a GT like the rental. My kid was so good through everything and it turned out to be just a weird cyst. After I had to bring the GT back, I really missed it and made good on my promise to order my 07 GT vert in the same color combos as the rental.
So that is how my third child came to be

Just out of curiosity, when does the novelty of riding around with the top down wear off? I've been going 6 months now and still can't wait to get in and take off.
