Yes!!! Just received a call from the dealer, and double checked with Ford Customer Service, and both confirmed a build date of the week of February 14!! Ford pulled the order yesterday. Have to believe with a build date, that IUP won't be an issue.

True. I still have my 2000 Taurus (which I'll keep), and am currently tooling around in two (2) feet of snow that last weekend's blizzard dumped on us. At least I finally got a build date...just hope there are no issues with IUP, or anything else. You'll get your updates, just check each Friday.

i ordered my vert on 11-3 and still dont have a build date...and was told i wouldnt be able to get IUP but i dunno i hope i get it

 

Looks like you and I are in the same boat PhattMatt because I ordered 11/6. Sales manager checked for me today and i'm still Unscheduled and swears there is no allocation problems.

Same thing happened to me with the "as of date". In fact, I called three (3) times to Ford Customer Service, and spoke the three (3) different reps on January 21, 26, & 28. On the 28th, the rep told me "as of" January 20, my build date was the week of Fenruary 14, Why was I not told that on January 21 or 26??? She had no idea. After speaking with the rep on January 28, I then called the dealer who confirmed the same build date (they found that morning). Whjat number are you calling Fisch for for your updates?

 

Another update. Things are happening fast!!! Just got off the phone with Ford Customer Service, and the status has been updated to "Scheduled to leave the plant February 21, and arrive at dealer by February 28. This is really fast, and, apparently there is no problem with IUP. Ford did not have a VIN number for me, but I'll check again with the dealer tomorrow.

Geez, you might have a convertible BEFORE March. Gotta be one of the first in the country to go out.
