Please vote, even if nothing has happened, so we get a representative percentage...

So far, knock on wood, nobody has vandalized my car but I think that is only because it is parked in a garage over night. My 97 GT got egged at least once a year because it just sat in the driveway at night.

My car got egged in Lubbock Tx one night. Thankfully, only one egg and I was able to wash it off with no damage to the paint (physical or chemical). For some reason, my car got a VERY through bath before I came home from that trip...

The punks. Personally, I have always considered vandalizim to be a far worse crime than theft. If I steal your TV, you don't have a TV, but I DO. If I take a baseball bat to it, NEITHER of us has a TV. At least there is a gain with theft. Vandalizim is total lose. Frankly, they should have the penalties for vandalizim at least twice as bad as the quivilent theft. If you can go to jail for 6 months for stealing something, then you should go to jail for at least a year for vandalizing the same thing.

Voted "nothing" and I consider myself lucky especially living in Brooklyn. I do have a ding on my rear passenger wheel well possibly from my neighbor's car door but can't prove it since I didn't see it. So I consider it accidental not vandalism(still bites though).

Workers at my apartment got white line paint on my car. Accidentally I believe, but then denied it. Vandalism in my book.

I put keyed, since that was what happened first, but my poor pony has been both keyed and egged... While a pain, the egg was cleaned up with no visible damage, but the key job is still there (although buffed as much as possible to be less noticeable) and probably will stay there for a while... It's from the front wheel well all the way to the rear wheel well... which from my estimates, is going to be expensive to fix... >

The only time I have really received any vandalism towards my car is when some of my stupid friends thought it would be funny to write on the windows with that window chalk crap. In the back window they wrote "FOR SALE $2,000" and then put my phone number below that. Then on the rest of the windows they wrote how sucky it is.

Small town Mid-West “Jokers†Shot out the glass of my SN-95 in broad daylight when it was setting in the garage I had the door open. They got 6 other car windows in an hour. Still have not found the punks. I live in small town USA 7,400 residents.

I've been fortunate that nothing has happened to my car,

Luckily it stays in the garage overnight, i've also been protective of where I park it. If it does happen, so be it, as long as I can see who did it and I can run faster than he can.

Ditto!

Thank goodness I have a garage to park her in at home...and so far, even with jerks parking next to me in BFE, I haven't gotten any dings.

So far, so good. I have it in the garage at home every night and I'm always cautious as I can be whenever I park it in public.

darn, with a 27% chance (As of January 16th) of something like this happening you better have a 0 deductible on these cars.

I wonder what the breakdown for garaged vs. non garaged vehicles is? I bet if we only polled cars parked outside the percentage would be even higher.

Just a little egg. But she needed cleaning anyway.

Plus the little punks got the snot scared out of them the next week when they got caught doing it again to other cars. My friend nearly made em pee themselves.

The first time I called the police on the little brats(different ones) for vandalism. Then I promptly moved out of that rednecky nasty Brady Bunch neighborhood. You can take the redneck out of the trailer park.......
