Vandalism for the Holidays
So, I go outside to my car today and what do I find? The driver side of my 2007 Alloy V6 keyed from front to back...one scratch across the whole side. I just can't understand why someone would feel the need to do this? I've seen other threads here about keyed Mustangs and now mine can be added to that list. What is wrong with people these days?
I guess I will call up my insurance agent next week since they're probably out of the office for the holidays. Ugh...

There are some people that just can't stand to see anyone else with something nice. There are also ******* kids that do stuff like this just for a thrill. Either way it stinks.

Sorry to see that Steve. That looks pretty deep, so repainting the side may be the best way. I hope your insurance covers most of the cost. I had a similar thing happen to our family truckster (Lincoln Town Car), but my body shop guys buffed out a lot of it and only had to shoot one door panel.
Try to keep on the sunny side. Just remember what a crappy life the guy who did this has. And, he probably doesn't have a Mustang

Kinda makes you want to ensure that Santa puts coal in the culprit's stocking or at least a hungry wolverine.
What should I do if my car is vandalized??

Sorry to see something like that happen to you steve, or to anyone. As mentioned above, the person who did this most likely has no real life of their own and probably never will...unless you consider spending time in an out of jail a life.
They are just dumb a$$h*les plain and simple!

Sorry to hear about that man, hope the damage is fixed soon.
Sometimes these things are a mixed blessing if you have any body upgrades you want done at the same time, you could come out better than you started...

Man, I feel for ya, Steve. It is mine that was keyed in this post: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=74592
It is a shame that some people feel the need to damage other's property for no good reason. Like everyone is saying, hang in there and get it repaired. Hopefully, there is a special place in Hell for these folks.

Steve, I'm truly sorry this happened to you... As it goes to show just how some people can be so inconsiderate, and insensitive who never think about anyone else, but themselves. More than likely, the person in question who keyed your Mustang, probably just did it out of spite and jealousy...
Although this doesn't give anybody the right or excuse, for doing such a horrible thing, you can be assured of this. the person in question is nothing more than just a coward, who obviously has no backbone when it comes to standing up to anyone face to face, otherwise there wouldn't be any excuse for going behind one's back and doing such a cowardly act, in the first place...
IMHO! anybody like that deserves nothing short of getting their butt handed to them. In the meantime, rest assured that in the end, whoever did this, will get exactly what they deserve in return...

Once again my philosophy in life is reassured.
"There is an idiot around every corner"
You can`t let your guard down for a second.
Hope you get a quick fix.

So sorry Steve, We feel your pain . To bad all of us TMSers can't put a group beating on the guy, believe me, we would if we could. Pick a good body shop and hopefully everything will be fine. Have a great holiday too.
