V6 Sport Appearance Package Photos
I snapped some real life pictures of the 2008-09 Mustang with the V6 Sports Appearance Package. It's really nice!
This is the first one I have ever seen on dealer lots.
The grille is an entirely new factory design, not an overlay. Also, the lip spoiler is extended and is more aggressive in appearance than the one on the standard V6 models.

Are you sure that's a 2009? 2009 production just started last week. There are photos of the 2008 V6 Appearance Package in the TMS Gallery at http://forums.bradbarnett.net/galler...ages.php?c=246

Sorry Brad I may be wrong about it being a 2009 but it is definitely a carryover from 2008. I have not seen any on dealer lots before now. I have corrected my post to include 2008-09 and I will go back when I get a chance to see if it a 2008 on the sicker or not.

I would say it's a grille of personal taste and thats fine for those who like something different than stock. I am not one to say what looks "improved" or what doesn't. I personally tend to like grilles with a very stock appearance. If someone wants to make a more personal statement with something different than stock then thats great!

Thanks for pointing out the obvious... I forgot all about the 45th Aniversary badges on the 09 models. The one I saw did not have them so that confims that I was wrong about it being an 09. Ford must have been pumping out more of the 08 versions right before the model year changeover because I have never seen any around here until now.

You are absolutely correct. Those are the wheels that used to be on the Mercury Marauder. I guess Ford needs to get more use out of them since the big Merc was canceled. Personally, I don't like them.

Wow. That has to be the best factory V-6 I've ever seen. Two thumbs!!! The colors and angle of those pics really compliment the whole car. If I weren't a 5.0 lover and needed the fuel efficiency, I would most certainly buy the v-6.

It will but there will be a very slight radiused gap in the lower corners where it fits into the bumper cover opening. It's not really that noticable and would be even less noticale if you have a dark car or do not use a custom chrome molding on the edge of the grille.

Here's 3 different colors of the V6 Appearance Package that we have here today in one place...
Great looking package that's priced reasonably for everything it contains. IMO, this package looks better than the GT models!
