Is the '05 V6 max wired? Could one add the GT grill and fog lamps along with the GT headlight switch? What would be required in addition to the grill, lamps, mounts , harness and switch?

Curious future owner

I'd imagine it would be, I wouldn't think ford would use a different wiring harness just for fog lights... The current models are all pre-wired, pop out an insert, plug in the switch, I had to run a couple ground wires and a power wire, but the switch was pre-wired already on my 2000.

I'd probably be the other way around, I would be more interested in removing those giant fog lights from the girl, that or replacing them with some smaller ones.

Thanks for the feedback CarlsV6and the welcome Donna. I'm 50ish so the big lights are a real throwback to the 60's for me. Glory days, when Powered by Ford was a big deal to a 14 year old kid. Maybe I can get a setup from some GT owner when the day comes, maybe I'll just spring for a GT instead. I do like the idea of a modded V6 with suspension upgrades and the interior without the IUP. Just a basic sportscar without a bunch of luxury 'stuff'.
