I know of at least three that have traded in their 6 for a GT.

Meh, I'm going to wait for the 2009 Mustang. Then maybe get the GT.

I'm thinking the same thing. My car will be paid off and there will hopefully be SE's out by then.

I'm going to keep my car, I can't see myself letting it go, even for another one.
I will however get an addition, with a V8. We'll see what happens in 2009 with the Mustang Vs. Challenger.

Moving this to the main forum where the rest of the v6 or GT topics are however I will keep an eye on it. These tend to get nasty and closed rather quickly.

You won't be disapointed with the GT at all. If you have the chance and can do it, DO IT!

Any questions ask DONNA

She went from a sweet V6 to a sweet GT!

I went from an 02V6 to an 05V8 if that counts.

Do it if you can...
the sound and oomph alone is worth it.

well see I'm upgrading from "broke college student" to "young urban professional with no real expenses yet and nothing to spend his money on". So once the job settles down, I'll definitely be at the dealership ordering my very own GT

I traded my 05 V6 for a 06 GT after owning the V6 for one year. I didn't expect to love the car so much, and figured you only live once so make yourself happy. I have absolutely no regrets and traded at a time when I did not loose money on the V6. If you can afford to do it...Go for it. You want be disappointed.
Ordering is the way to go. I ordered both cars. I learned my lesson the first time and ordered the GT loaded!!

Does my 1998 Mitsubishi I4 to my 2005 Ford V8 count in this thread?

Same here but you can bet it will come in addition to my 06 V6. I love this car and I get in enough trouble with speeding in it, so I don't need an 8.

lol I went from a GT(well an 01 last time) to a 6. I'm not gonna bother until there is at least 5.4L under the hood. I'm not getting tied up in thousands of dollars in mods in a car I would drop like a bad habit the day a Mach comes out. I had a 98 then the 99 PI heads came out the next year, and I bought an 01 and the Mach and s/c cobras came out less then 2 years later.
