Up to 1099 mustangs in the spreadsheet now.

Of the 28 2006's, 11 (or 39%) are Tungsten. Probably so high because new 2006 owners with previously available colors are less apt to post pix and info. JMO

FYI: 5 Vista Blues so far.

New spreadsheet is available here http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=441645

1113 mustangs in the new spreadsheet. Remember to check the stats sheet for a breakout.

If things go according to plan, this will be my last update. 68ShelbyGT500KR and MY05GT will be taking over responsibility for updating and maintaining the "unofficial registry". I will simply post the new spreadsheets to the other thread.

Thanks for all the work, Mark.
Guess this will have to hold us over until Brad gets a TMS registry going.

Updated spreadsheet is available for viewing.

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=441645

Steve (68ShelbyGT500KR), has made a Herculean effort to fill in many of the blanks.

He is continuing to update the missing data. Help him out by sending him a pm if you buy a new stang or can provide him missing info.

Even with 1163 entries, not one TMS member has a yellow or white GT with optional 17" (machined) wheels and spoiler delete.

Only GT color not seen with bullitts and spoiler delete is Tungsten.

At this rate Tungsten will soon pass yellow and white in overall #s.

Well its almost been a year since the first TMS member posted pix of his car.

Probably will have around 1300 members in the registry at the 1 year point (mid October) which would work out to about 3 1/2 TMS members per day getting a S197 mustang.

Other useless trivia. The southern most point in Canada is further south than the northern border of California.

Well we are up to 1402 entries in the registry. Averaging just over 4 new S-197s per day since mid Oct 04.

We finally got our first 05 Yellow GT coupe with spoiler delete and optional 17" wheels (wild cheetah)

Still haven't seen any white GT coupes with no spoiler and optional 17" wheels.

Other useless trivia. If you go straight South from downtown Detroit, Michigan you run into Canada.

We have surpassed your predication of 1300 by mid Oct 05 by 100+ Mustangs. That's alot of digging....

We have 136 06's on Order.

We have 92 That I need to find out the status. I would guess that 50-70 are already delivered and have not been confirmed to this date.

I don't have any useless trivia to add here.....

Well it been 359 days since the first TMS mustangs arrived on this site (cyoda44 and TN615).

Now we have registered 1507, which works out to 4.2 new S197 owners per day.

Order of popularity of 2005 colors:
Black 20.3%
Redfire 12.3%
Mineral Grey 11.2%
Satin Silver 10.8%
Sonic Blue 10.0%
Torch Red 9.1%
Windveil Blue 8.4%
Legend Lime 5.1%
White 4.24%
Yellow 4.17%

It will be interesting to see how we compare to overall production #s

2006 colors.
Tungsten (27.2%) is by far the most popular (despite having shades of purple
Vista Blue is 15.2%
Black 14.6%.

I'm sure black will resume the lead for 2006

It won't be long before there are more Tungsten stangs on this site than 2005/06 white or yellow stangs.

Oh yeah, almost forgot other useless trivia.
The first recorded use of the word "hello" occured in 1883. It's use corresponds to the invention of the telelphone. So if you see a film, set in a time prior to 1883, and they say "hello", then it is historically inaccurate.

Well it's official. After less than 3 months of production, Tungsten has already surpassed Yellow (2005 and 2006) in total #s in the registry.

Currently there are 64 Tungsten and 62 S. Yellow S-197s in the registry. I wouldn't be surprised if Tungsten passes P. White (currently 73) next week.

New registry spreadsheet is located here: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=441645

Just looking at the new 27 Nov TMS registry spreadsheet and noted a dramatic shift in the popularity of the machined optional 17" wheels from 2005 to 2006.

Of the 989 known wheel types for 2005 GTs:
17" Bullitts = 51.7%
17" Opt Machined = 48.3%

However in 2006, of the 238 wheels on GTs:
17" Bullitts = 41.6%
17" Opt Machined = 10.5%
Fanblades = 42.0%
18" Bullitts = 5.9%

17" Bullitts maintain their popularity in 06, but the optional 17" wheels have dramatically dropped (48% to 10.5%).

If you want a rare car, go for one with 17" optional machined wheels and a spoiler delete. Of the 1854 TMS S-197 entries, only 54 have this combo. Currently there are no Vista Blue and only 1 Tungsten and 1 Yellow with this combo.

Tungsten has now surpassed White in overall #s on the TMS registry (took 7 weeks longer than I thought).

92 Tungsten stangs (most popular 2006 color so far)
90 White stangs (includes both 2005s and 2006s)
