Where is the seatbelt/inside decklid protector? I looked at some new 06es on the lot and they are like mine missing that piece that goes between the belt and the decklid. On the used 05 I looked at it had that piece on there.

Could some one else with an 06 look at this for me and maybe someone with an 05 can post a pic of what I’m talking about.

Thanks
Tommy

Either there is some serious de-contenting or someone was asleep on the job

Our 06 v6 pony has a tone when you get low on gas.. Its the same ding ding ding ding you get when you leave on the e-brake.

I get the tone when I'm down to < 1/3 tank and I take a fun right hand corner near work at about 40mph+.

and our 06 is missing the seatbelt guide protector thingy too.

Mine has it it drives me completely nuts I have a 4.5 mile commute so for 4 days it will beep at me three times each trip. You do realize there is a gas gauge on the dashboard as well?

I'll check mine tonight, see if it has those guides.

My 06 does the tones for low gas, at 50 miles remaining. Confused me the first couple times it went off, I had no idea what the beeping was for.

Now, as far as a tone for leaving the e-brake on...I started to back up one day with the brake on, and I don't recall a tone? I'll have to check that too.

WOW... I didn't even know I had a back seat (LOL)! But now that you mentioned it, I don't have the plastic seatbelt protectors either... I do, however, have the warning tone...

Did the protector actually do anything? I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of it.

Here are some pictures of my 05's backseat seatbelt trim pieces that you guys are talking about. I can't see that they are needed. However, IMO it gives the area a neater more finished appearence.
