Underhood Hose Dressup

Hi,

I am trying to put together a final list of hoses/clamps to get for my 07 GT. I got an email from someone that got the parts from AMSTREETROD, but I need to know some exact parts for the clamps

Here is what I have so far for parts needed:

#28 - 36" Long (Radiator Hose)
#11 - 9" Long
#7 - 22" Long
#7 - 20" Long
#7 - 15" Long
#7 - 10" Long
#5 - 9" Long

I want to use the Econ-O-Fit connectors that go over the factory connectors. I cannot find a clamps for the #11 hose on the site. Anyone know what will work.

Does anyone have a more exact list of hoses/clamps needed? It would help me out alot.

Thanks,

Sean

Make sure that list is for a 07 and later as the 05/06 are different for the Radiator Hose. Also don't replace the hose that goes from the lower Radiator expansion down to the lower Radiator hose. You can't see it and it's a pita to get off. I brought my SS hoses from Am, they are a little slow in shipping but good to work with. I would take a picture of my setup but I replace alot when I install my Saleen SC. Let me see if I got a picture from before.

dly,

You wouldn't happen to have your invoice from them for the SS hoses? Supposedly the #28 hoses is for the 2007 engine. I asked AMSTREETROD, and they did not know what parts were needed.

This is what I found

2' 18 AutoFlex Hose
1' 5 AutoFlex Hose
7' 7 AutoFlex Hose
1' 11 AutoFlex Hose
2 5 EconOfit 17/32" Blue
8 7 EconOfit 21/32" Blue
2 12 EconOfit 15/16" Blue

Also later I purchase 3' -28 Autoflex hose item # 303028 $68.99
2 #18 EconOfit blue 1 3/? #900218

Whats all I could find but I changed over to a Saleen S/C and it makes you go back to a 05/06 style crossover for the Radiator. I also brought some Spectre SS Hose from Pep boys but I don't remember what it was for. Again the best hint I can give you is that, don't change the lower 5/8" hose from the expansion tank to the bottom tee. It was a royal pita.

hopes this helps.

dly,

How do you like the Canton tanks? What is that can for at the end of the hoses coming from the Coolant tank? I have seen most people just put a breather filter on it.

I like them alot. The Radiator expansion tank I got as a Blem from Canton for $85. The Power Steering tank was $99. The Canton expansion tank has an extra outlet, so I placed an extra piece of SS hoses leading to an soda pop can that had "Whoop A$$" soda in it.

This thread REALLY has me thinking. Not to do every hose, but a select few dressed with the SS hoses and blue anodized clamps. Hey dly, can you add to your list, what each of the lengths of hoses you posted up, replace under the hood?

The below list

1' 5 AutoFlex Hose
7' 7 AutoFlex Hose
1' 11 AutoFlex Hose
2 5 EconOfit 17/32" Blue
8 7 EconOfit 21/32" Blue

2 #18 EconOfit blue 1 3/? #900218

Plus I believe I brought a couple of the Spectre 3/8" fuel line kits and I had a old Russell Blue clamp kit that have 3 or 4 different sizes in it.
I guess I need to measure my hoses for the exact length and sizes as I have a whole shelve of left overs. After the S/C install I think I'm down to above 5 or 6 total SS hoses.

That is one sweet engine bay! All you are missing is some strut tower caps to cover up those rusting strut bolts... like the ones from Midwest Auto.

Are those replacement hoses or slip over covers?
