GTJeff... Where do you think I got the idea to paint my covers? Now it looks like I will have to do some undercarriage work thanks to you.

Great job and keep going... I am so un-original and need some new ideas!

Jeff, I think you have way too much time on your hands. When I saw your pics of under the car, that Styx song started playing in my head. I like the polished differential cover though, but who is ever going to see it? Unless you are trying to impress your service guy, I just don't see the point.

Jeff are those bolt on tips on your mufflers? I have so many people asking me where they can get their tips done like mine but I dont have mufflers...they just want bolt ons to make them look better.

I do have a little extra time, however I am doing it for the car shows and the extra points...

Ok, carshows. Now, that's a different story. But keep in mind that a lot of times, judges will like the more understated simple cars. With everyone out there modding every little thing, they tend to go for the cleaner look... not so busy. Although small changes like you are doing are probably going to get you points. But I just wouldn't go overboard.

I painted the axle and the brackets around the shocks that were both rusting and then cleaned everything else up...

Also did a little work up front...

I am using mirrors to display this at car shows...

Looks great. I'd do that to mine too if it wasn't a daily driver. You sure are giving us some great ideas.
