By the way the guys that have seen them have seen them closer to Ft. Meade, but before you cross the AA county line by Ft. Meade. I'm guessing near Rt 1.

05BLKGT & Pittperson, where are you guys at in Columbia? I used to have a town house over by the Home Depot. We lived there for a couple of years then moved up to Sykesville where both my wife and I are from.

We need to meet up sometime and do a cruise, there are 3 or 4 other people on this board that are in Howard County as well.

I was stopped by a Kentucky State Trooper 2 days before Christmas in Louisville, and after giving me several compliments on the car, he told me that his Post had 6 of them on order. He was pretty impressed. Luckily, I just got a courtesy warning.

Ive heard that there maybe some in the Atlanta area, but have not seen any. The sheriff's car has some dark tint. If he tried to ticket me for dark tint, I would have a few choice words about his.

Its either Dekalb County or Doraville police that has one. There is a speed trap I usually see during the day on 285 just before you get to 85. It's right about where the GM Doraville plant is that has the mustang billboard over it.

I go to collete up in Salem Oregon, and the state police have 4 white mustang gt's, fully modified with top lightbars and a full paint scheme. I wish I could find a picture, but they remind me of the old lamborghini police cars that got photographed all the time.

A police vert? You've seen that personally? What's their rationale for purchasing that?

a friend of mine answered what this car is all about...
and yes, I have seen it next to the Police Station here in downtown.
I saw the LAPD Mustang at the Acadamy when they had the 'Cops for Tots' show back in October. I asked one of the officers at the academy and he told me the Mustang is the chief's parade car.

Speaking of Florida I have seen a silver one first hand in Orange county, on I-4 by the Altimonte exit. It was undercover but it had enough lights to choke a horse!

Chaps, I think you have pretty cool cops to drive around in Stangs! You would never see this happening in Europe! Here they drive Mercedes E-Class or sometimes Porsche (very seldomely), GM (Opel), VW (Passat) and Audi (A6). Due to cost reasons they probably soon gonna switch to Skoda or so ;-)
Some months ago I read an article in a cars mag that some Italo cops drive a brand new Lamborghini, but this was donated by Lamborghini. Looks pretty cool as a cop car!
