Ultimate paint protection over kill
Ultimate paint protection over kill
OMG, I just happened to run across this Mustang. not sure if it's been posted as I couldn't find anything in search.
I recently had Line-X installed on my F-450 and went to their website to just read up on it more cos the brochure was pretty generic. Well in their gallery was this Mustang.

It's just sick and wrong. Reminds me of the California Raisin commercials.
My only guess is that it must have been a SEMA car. Could you imagine the weight of this thing.

That is just wierd!
A reply email from Line-X
Well if you want the truth you go to the source so I emailed Line-X and this is what I received today:
Well, after reading the forum, I can definitively tell you it is not a spoof or photoshoped. It was sprayed here on Huntsville, AL. This customer loves LINE-X and has had a number of other vehicles covered. It was a Rousch Mustang (white with blue stripes). This was applied with LINE-X Xtra to be color coded to match the blue racing stripes. The picture makes it look a little purple, but it was definitely blue. The customer was extremely satisfied and will be back for more
Thank
you for your interest in LINE-X. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Yeah it is kinda nuts! OK it's EXTREMELY nuts to do that to the whole car but after looking at their site and checking out their videos it seems they have a great product to offer those who could use it. Like they say, "Good or bad, at least they are talking about you!"
If I had an SUV or truck it would definitely be the way to go for the bumpers and bedliner.
I would like to see the owner of that stang post more pictures though.

Something about this doesn't feel right. It's like a publicity stunt or an advertising stunt for this LINE-X Bedliner. If some guy actually did this to his Mustang, he must have had an ulterior motive other than trying to make it look better or protect it. And as it has been already pointed out on this thread, the picture doesn't look right.
