Uh Oh need help
Had a small incident today, leaving work had some oblivious driver cut me off. Make long story short, back came around to meet front, driver side hit curb and came to rest on same curbs grassy area. Both wheels are trashed, suspension is out of whack.
The rear sway bar shows it to be off about an inch towards the passenger side, plus I have a fluid leak, possibly brake fluid. Can I take it to a wheel and tire place and just have them do a four wheel alignment or should I have the dealer look at it.
Cars runs fine, no warning lights or abnormal sounds except for the suspension stuff.
Looks like I now in the market for some new wheels with a possible brake upgrade.
Anybody have some 17" optional upgrades they want to sell???

Wow, 141 views. But nobody answered my question, must be the leftover turkey.
Touring, like the gt/cs wheels but prefer to stay with what I have. Thanks.

I'd take it to a service shop. You can take it either place, but I'd try and hide the evidence of an 'accident' from the dealer. They like to deny legit warranty claims if there's the slightest possibility that it maybe, could've, once-in-a-million chance that it was from an accident.

Oh, and get an estimate first, if possible. If it gets expensive you could consider making an insurance claim, but it doesn't sound like it's going to be worth it.
My .02, hope it helps.

Car is at thge Dealership now, awaiting the insurance guy to inspect it.
I took it in and told the guy about the rear end being off and I wanted it aligned. The service writer looked at it and suggested to make the claim in case anything else is afoul. So far two wheels and tires are being replaced, the whole backend suspension is getting dropped and looked at. He is also having them check out the drive train and brakes.
I am driving a rental Focus. Man, I miss my V8!!!!!
