I ordered 11/19 and was told to expect it around late Jan/early Feb. I stopped by tonight to get a copy of my DORA and the dealer informs me that my order was bumped UP and is expected to arrive on 12/21!, Tues!!!! Problem is that I'm still 1K short since I was planning for a Jan delivery. Anyone got any cash quick ideas? he he

Well they draw for the lottery here in TN Sat Or a pawn shop, or a yard sale. How about a car wash

I really don't have any useful ideas. Except to finance the extra 1000 if you don't have it. It shouldn't raise your payments more then 20 a month for a 60mt loan. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Congrats. Be sure to post pixs. and Happy Holidays

Congratulations! I orderded before you and still have no VIN, build date, nothing! You luck dog!
You could probably sell that 89 Taurus for $600 or so.
I always get those instant checks from my credit card company... would one of those work??? And no... I won't send you one of mine!

I also hear that some people can live with only one lung....after all these donations, you will probably have enough money left for some modifications!

Funny you should mention that, we raised exactly $1000 today at our 'drumathon'.

basically my highschool's drumline went out to a busy intersection and played on our marching drums and collected money from stopped cars at the red lights. Worked great!

Now all you need is some drums, a few good players, some money collectors, a good intersection to work, and 7 hours!

Might be a little sore after a few weeks of that. You may not be able to drive, well if it is an automatic you should be fine

Not the best idea, but if you expect to have the money in a couple of weeks, they'll take a credit card for a downpayment...

Charge it, then pay it off very quickly.

I got the money covered now, its all good. Now the problem is that I'm booked solid with work until Xmas, so I don't see me taking the car home before the 26th...
