I'd like to get that intake but I don't want the ford tuner, I'd like to get a Bama tune so I'd have to order them separate. I like the CAI since it look factory and will seal with my hood. Maybe I'm one of the minority but I don't like the way CAI's like the JLT (By no means knocking the JLT) look, plus I just like to be different

I would buy the intake from KC and get a real tuner. The intake is probably the best looking one on the market. It doesn't flow quite as well as the JLT or C&L Racer, but there are worse producing intakes out there. If you're wanting looks and performance, I think the FRPP/Bullitt intake is a good middle ground.

The plugs look interesting but I don't see were they offer them for the V8 and I assume you have a GT from the intake link. And for the V6 they are $25.00 a pop so even if they had them for the GT your looking at a minimum of $200 (probably more) for a set of 8.

The attraction of the FRPP intake is, for me, the warranty (and the fact that it's a Ford part). With the FRPP, if the MAF breaks or the filter needs replaced, or the tune goes screwy, I'd have an easier time with it (and probably cheaper) with the FRPP, than my current Granatelli.

The tune will suck compared to what you can get from Bamachips or Brenspeed. And if something goes wrong with the tune, they're only an email away. By all means, it's a good looking intake and does pretty well for power. But don't bother with that package. Get the intake from KC and the tuner/tune from Bamachips or Brenspeed.
