Let me start by saying that I am not that smart when it comes to automotive stuff, but I am looking forward to learning with this new toy....I recently bought a used 06 GT. Its got some mods that I know of like an air raid cai, bbk throttle body, Hurst shifter, and pypes axle back. Not sure if there are any more, perhaps a clutch or gears, planning on getting it up on a lift to see what I can find out. My question is, would there be an easy way to tell if it has been tuned? I'm assuming with all the mods that it probably has. I am planning on getting a tuner myself, but would I have to take it to dealer first and get it flashed back to stock first? I am not too concerned with warranty as I'm pretty sure that is all expired so not sure if there is a benifit to going back to stock. I was reading about the tuners, and know I have to tell them all the mods I have, what if I miss one, like for instance a diff clutch or gears or something? any help would be appreciated.
