I have a problem with the seat cushion trim coming loose on the front seats of my 05 Mustang GT. I looked for the TSB directed to this issue and when I found it the link to that TSB is not working.
Can anyone send me the TSB (the number is listed above) so I can see what needs to be done to fix the problem?

I talked to a couple of dealers about the problem...one said they would have to take pictures of the problem and send them to Ford for approval to make the repairs (something about preventing warrenty fraud), and they would get back to me about scheduling an appointment for repair.

The second dealer said they would have to send the car to an outside shop to have the work done, and to allow a full day.

In other words...drop the car off the night before and they would send it out the next day, and I should have it back later that day.

Since this looks like a minor problem I was thinking about at least trying to fix the problem myself before leaving it overnight at the dealer for repairs.

Thanks in advance for the information

I didn't know about a TSB for the seat cover when I took mine in. But the dealer did acknoledge that there were issues with the seat covers, and that it wasn't on just Mustangs. He also said that Ford would only replace the seat cover once under warranty and suggested that I live with the loose trim on the bottom of the seat if I could and wait for the seat cover to wear. Have not decided if it was good advise or not, just passing along the story.

I would be interested in seeing the TSB though if you find a working link to it.

I have had this problem since I got the car. I've put the trim piece back on the passenger seat several times and it never stays. I definitely would like to see a TSB for this.
