How many sets of Golf clubs can you fit in the trunk? Will two sets fit with the seats up?

Thanks

(Shaker 500 not 1000)

Im sure......I can spend all day shopping, and have a tenor sax in there too with room left over. Its only the backseats that are useless.

If the bags are small and you don't have a pull cart attached, maybe. With the seats down, no problem.

I have fit two sets of clubs in the trunck already. A set of Cleaveland TA 7's in a walking bad with stand and a set of the latest pings in a monster size club bag. Even had enough room for shoe's and stuff. If you have one of the Longer drivers you might need to take it out but I do that all the time anyway.

BTW I only have the shaker 500 not the 1000 so there are no subs in the trunk. That would be a whole different ball game.

I've been so busy lately, that I haven't put my sticks in the car yet. I have a ping staff bag, but it looks like it will fit fine.

Is this how you determine if you will buy the car or not?

Not me.....but I magine there would some retired sorts that play golf 7 days a week, that just may use trunk space as a measuring stick.

Yes it was one of the factors I considered when I ordered the car. I had looked at the trunk space and thought it looked big enough, just wanted some confirmation.

Other factors...

Cool? Yep!
Fast? Yep!
Affordable? Yep!
Will the Wife let me? Yep! (Gotta love her!!)

Well considering you've already ordered would you cancel if it only fit one golf club bag? I mean even if it couldn’t the seats fold down so I'm sure you could fit them either way.

Yes, its one huge consideration for me, if I can't get two sets of clubs in the trunk, I don't buy, period.

No wasn't going to cancel it, just curious. Sorry to ask a question that doesn't concern IUP, GTO comparisons, and 0-60 times. But those topics seem to be covered pretty well.

No need to apologize, I am sure there are others who have simalar questions but don't post them...on behalf of them and myself, thanks for asking the question!

That's ok, now I want to you make 6 topics on each fast. Because the internet is serious business guys!

And I think we care more about 1/4 then 0-60 times please if you are going to make a joke make it be truthful. You could have also added "what should I name my car" or "hey guys my custom plates are cool, am I right?"

All I wanted to know was if it was important enough to consider another car. Not everything is a personal attack over the internet I was just interested I/others answered your question now I just wanted to know what priority it took on your buying a car.

Does the 05 trunk latch the same way as the 02 model? With that big U bolt thing in the center just inside the trunk?

Curious, because that stinky thing was always in my way. Putting chicken feed or dog food in the trunk, had to be careful to lift it in and out, over that latch or it would rip a hole in the bag. 50 pound bag of chicken feed is heavy to lift over that latch! I bet I had 20 pounds of chicken feed in my spare tire area!

Altoid, It is clear you had a sincere question and you were not attacking anyone. Communication in these forums can be a challenge, I apoligize if it appeared I was piling on. Anyway, it is great to hear clubs will fit in the trunk...I am still gonna get my stang!
