I live in Ohio and a number of dealers have told me that there is a trucking strike that is delaying delivery of 05 mustangs. They told me that it could be up to six weeks before the first ones are delivered (in ohio). Does anyone have any info on this??

 

This was mentioned before and seemed to be discounted but so far no facts either way that I'm aware of. It would be interesting to nail this one down.

 

I saw a few trucks today so I would say that's bull....They didn't have fords on them but a truck strike would affect all carriers and these carriers had cars... This was just west of akron on 71 south towards mansfield. If there was a truck strike, do a search on a newspaper site and see for yourself.

 

There seems to be NO DELAY. I took a small detour on my way home from Cedar Point this weekend. I saw three car carriers loaded and leaving while I was there. The security guard was nice enough to let me take pictures. .....I am new to the site so hopefully I can post them. It was AWESOME to see thousands 05 Mustangs everywhere. I am from southern Ohio and there is at least one 05 GT at a dealership here....

Just put mine on a truck with some others that are going to South of Detroit, Toledo, and Cleveland. Its a 3 hour trip to cleveland. With a few stops, itll be here in one day.

There were two different lots of cars this one and the other one I took throught a fence.....

 

trucking strike? bah... unions are just organized blackmail. we pay for their over inflated wages as it is then they strike whenever they get butt hurt.

"waahhh cry for me" is their battle cry

Good, I don't see any Legend Lime pony's in that lot. Maybe that means mine is enroute or is it in-route.
