If the clutch is engaging and disengaging properly it is likely that the syncros are worn out. I would not be forcing it into gear, that can do more damage like bending the shift rail.

The TR-3650 transmission itself is hella solid, just the way the shifter's three rails work will make the shifting difficult enough, and then the synchros get... well, I dunno about taken out, but not near as good as when new.

It's real annoying.

You can put in Royal Purple Synchromax to replace the original fluid in the transmission, and it does help quite a bit. I did mine about about, oh, 45K I think? And most (but NOT all) of the shifting difficulty just went away.

I don't know if it will help your situation, but it can't hurt to give it a go.

If it doesn't work, then the other possible issues are the synchros, the shift forks (sometimes they do break, either shearing a pin, or breaking outright), or somethings wrong with the shift rails or shifter. You may need to take the transmission to a shop if you aren't able to take it apart and find out.

Or there might also be a clutch problem, like Josh says. Either the clutch itself, or the hydraulics/pedal.

Hope that helps.
