Same here in Charleston WV 8pm Iam take my 07 black GT to Monday night's premieme and park the GT right out front of the thrater and tease kids in parking lot let them think it is one of Transformers with my remope starter starting the motor on the GT.

 

Too bad you can't drive it with your cell phone like in the Bond movies. That would really scare the heck out of some people.

The Camaro used in the movie is actually a rebodied Pontiac GTO. Gm provided Saleen with it, and they worked with it and made the BumbleBee. It actually still retains the gto seats.

I'm looking forward to this movie too. Someone refresh my memory please, wasn't Bumblebee a VW bug in the original cartoon? If they wanted to put the Camaro in that's fine, but it shouldn't have been Bumblebee and it should have been a Decepticon

 

I think the claws from the foglamps are actually from Frenzy, who is stored inside Barricade.

I was tempted to buy the Barricade toy at Wal-Mart, with the justification being that it's been about 24+ years since I bought Transformers toys and because I have a S197 GT... then I snapped out of it.

 

Go ahead give in and buy it. Been at least that long for me also and I am certain I will buy if i happen to walk buy and see one. Your never to old to be a kid.

Just goto the movie website, it tells you what transformers are in.
And Barricade was originaly an F1 car. And in the Japanese series, he has a different name. So he's kind been a bastard child in that he gets thrown around alot with names, vehicles, regional names, etc.
So getting to be a badass cop car is prolly justification.
Barricade is an S281 Extreme, while bumble-bee is a clunker 70's Camaro, and then somehow ends up being a 5.7 GTO turned into a 09 Camaro...

I really want to see this, hope it lives up to the hype. Oh and on the topic of the Mustang being bad, I sure don't care. Stangs are bad *** cars and thus need to be bad, leave the brown nosing to the bowties.
