..."Transferring to an Analyst"
#1
Hi everyone. I have been lurking here for a while and recently officially joined.
We have a GT on order and ERL informed us this week, we have a status of serialized and awaiting build and ETA date. Today when we called, after putting in the basic info and ERL confirming, ERL automatically transferred us to an analyst. Of course, we hung up. For hours now, we have felt 'out of touch' since we have not been able to contact ERL at will for the automated status. We feel information-less!
Has this happened to anyone before? any scenarios as to why?

Can you guys tell me the number to the ERL? My dealer is an idiot and doesn't know what I'm talking about. Kzinti has been helpful, but it would be great if I could call and see what this ERL is saying about my order.
Appreciate it.

Yeah, not exactly happy but I am going through a salesman that I've been loyal to for years now. I get A plan anyways, so I could have gone to a larger allocated dealer without price problems but I would rather give him the business. Not to mention, I knew it would be getting cold out around the time I got my car and it would be going into storage anyways. It's worth the wait though!

stew - i don't think some of the info you get via the forums is something you are to share with your dealer/salesperson

why not.....it shows them you know more than they think....the more a buyer is informed the less likely they can get screw...or have the salsman b.s. them........my salesman was like when i told him everything i knew.......and he knew not to mess with me.......

I don't see anything wrong with letting your dealer know that you have access to info and even what that info is, however sharing where you get the info from, IMHO could mess things up for all of us. Remember, the ERL is for dealers, not customers.
