I got an offer that I could not refuse from the dealer so I had to part with my GT but I gotta say the GT500 is awesome. All I have is crappy cell phone pics of the GT500 at the moment.

I guess I will be the oddball here but I like the GT better but the important thing is you got what YOU wanted. I do like the blue on white GT500s better than the other colors. Congrats

 

+ 1 on the color choice! One suggestion: white mirror covers. Black mirrors are an eyesore on a white car with blue stripes (at least to me).

 

Definitely paint the mirrors white.

 

Already looking at a CAI and a tune for it. Looks like it will be a moneypit like the GT was...lol

Close to MSRP...$2000 over but they gave me $23,000 for my 06 GT (not much less than what I paid for it 2 years ago) and it had 45,000 miles on it so it was a good trade off.

I know what you mean. It really was a hard decision to trade it in but by the time I put a whipple, forged internals, and more suspension mods on the GT I would have had almost as much in it as the cost of the GT500. I must say after driving the GT500 for a day and a half I am completely happy with my decision. By the way the GT500 will not be staying stock it will be just as fun to mod as the GT was...

 

Nice move and nice car. It is nice to know that GT500's are coming down in price and that dealers can't get the mark up anymore. I expect things to get even better when Dodge and Chevy enter the muscle car competition.
