Hey guys.....First post I've made on here but I've been reading ever since I got my V6.....This is a great site and provides alot of helpful info..................Anyway....I bought a V6 because I couldn't find a GT and didn't want to wait(impatient)..........Well the dealer calls me 3 days ago and says he just got in a GT and it is the same color as my V6......So to make a long story short....I traded in the V6(1200 miles) for the GT........Best move I've ever made......This car is AWESOME................

The color of the new car is redfire with red leather....I wasn't sure about the contrasting red color, But the more I see it, the more I like it.....It has all the options except for the shaker 1000.....
The dealer I use is great...I know there are a bunch of dealers jacking the cost up on the GT's......I've heard all kind of prices for the same cars.......Just for the curious...I paid 27K for this one.....Good deal I think.......Great site guys

Wow - he treated you unbelieveably fair! Good for you.

And the Redfire is awesome - can't wait to see the pics.

Again, congratulations!

Rex,
I believe he said it cost him a grand, plus the difference in the sticker price of the two vehicles. So figure he said he paid 27k for the GT, and the V-6 was maybe 22k, so he was looking at $6,000 more to get into the GT. Thats the way I see his explaination of it. Sounds like he got a good deal, if thats all he had to pay to upgrade to a GT, same model year. Normally, you could never trade for this amount.

Yah,
I know what your saying. I could never get away with trading the same year for an upgraded model, without taking an extremely large hit on the depreciation, but guess we have to give him the benefit of the doubt. If in fact it be true, more power to him, cause he made out really great. I've never been that fortunate to get a deal like that.

Seems like he traded it for a new Ford pickup, as I recollect.

Actually one guy here complained that the V6 wasn't the power he wanted. Yes he traded it for a GT. Wish I could remember the screen name.
