How much would I get for it I need to find out the blue book price but does anyone have any estimates?? its where if i can get good $ for it ill think about it and if i dont then im still fine!! o and my 05 has 2,322.3 miles Exactly

I don't think there is a blue book value yet, but to give you an idea, I looked at trading in my '05 vert on a GT when it was a month old. Less than 1k miles. Sticker on it was 28,350, trade-in value was initially 21k. They later came up to 23k, but I wasn't willing to take that kind of a hit to get into a GT!

You're crazy. All for some grill parts, you're willing to lose money? Just wait for some aftermarket grills that will be similar, or you could even ask your ford dealer if they will sell you a grill kit to put on your 05. It's possible (not likely) they will sell it to you.

Yes, you will be able to buy the parts. They're not available just yet, but it won't be long. Kevin at Clevenger Ford will be selling a conversion package once he gets all the parts. You can put your name on the notification list in this thread:

Answer..
Yes, you can buy ANY part for the car at the Ford dealership...
Once you know the part number (or one of our fine dealership members can) than you can order the part and install it yourself.
So bottom line, spend a couple hundred dollars, or lose a bunch of thousands..... hrm.. what to do, what to do.....
hehe
I modified my 02 V6 to have Bullitt side scoops, mach1 grill and spoiler + fog lights.
Bottom line, get the parts your self and do it in the driveway or have the dealership install it if you don't want to tackle it.

Actually they are already making many of the parts. Kevin has already gotten his hands on many of the pieces (lower grille, fog lights, etc.) and has posted pics of the parts in the thread I linked to above. '06's are going into production next month, it stands to reason that the parts are already well into production.

I don't think a used V-6 even with low milage would bring much, due to the fact they are setting on dealer lots. The GT with IUP is a different story because most O5 buyers are searching for them.

What? How can you claim that all you're asking is "if they will sell the 06 grille i like fogs and stuff" when the topic of this thread says "trade-in?"

Sheeesh guys. After OP realized the cost of trading and that he would be able to get upgrade parts eventually, he decided it would indeed be a better way to go. Read posts 5 & 6.
What, did you want him to start a whole new thread to ask more questions about the suggestions given here?

I'm glad you decided to keep your car. Trading it in within the first few years is definately a bad idea.
A friend of mine got a 350z a couple years ago, traded it in after a year, got something else, had it for a year and traded in it for another 350z. After all is said and done he's probably paying $37k (or more) for a $30k car.

If any one wants to look up the value of their car, Edmunds.com has the '05 listed already.
As for trading, it all depends on how much you paid for the car. They have mine listed for:
Trade-In: $23,353
Private Party: $24,556
Dealer Retail: $26,699
(5500 miles)
Which is pretty cool since I only paid $23,693 when it had 2 miles on it.
