Well we just got back from Bradenton, FL. This was the first big chance to see what a "Ford loving" crowd would think of our 05. The car was entered in the World of Wheels a couple weeks ago where it took home top honors. From the moment we pulled the car off the trailer, people were going crazy over it. I have to say I never thought it would cause such a stir! The car got filmed for a tv show, won 4 first place awards, was shot for mustangweekly.com and will be on the cover and featured in the May issue of the Mustang Club of America's magazine, Mustang Times. It was a great weekend and we met hundreds of super nice people, including many from the board. There were even a few who had said they didn't like the car online that took the time to come over and say that they were completely wrong after seeing it in person. We are really excited about the magazine and awards and cant wait to see those of you who we met at future events! Check out mustangweekly.com for the online story.

Hey turbo

I've always liked your ride!!!!!!!!!!! Looks sweet.

Funny? All the naysayers kind of went away.

I wonder what a redfire GT would look like with your paint scheme.

If anyone is good a doing a photochop, that would be swell!!

Nick

I dont know what it would look like, but it is very hard to do right. The lines have to be perfect and of course if the black isn't done by an extremely good painter it will look awful. You also have to do some work on the factory paint to make it blend right. Thanks for the compliment!

I was a naysayer when I first saw the car. But over time it has grown on me. And I like it now. I love the wheels especially.
Congrats on the awards, its nice to see the hard work pay off. good for you.

Chad it was nice to meet you in person (I was the guy who showed you where to park and asked if you could whisper the numbers she put down ) and the car must be seen in person to be appreciated. The car show was great as a whole, but a let down for 05 fans - out of something like 105 cars, there were only 5 05's there on Saturday

I'm the same way, I didn't like the 2-tone paint scheme at first. It's different though, and it is growing on me. Not quite retro like my style, but to each their own. I tell you what, I'm sure that car turns some heads. Chad, are those the 3D-Carbon side louvers? Personally, and don't take this the wrong way, but I would take those off and get the MRT ones. They are more square and are flat along the bottom instead of rounded. That would look a lot better with that straight line going across your car. And personally the MRT louvers just look meaner.

I'm local when it comes to big events - FFW in Orlando and NMRA in Bradenton every year But with the SW FL posse down there, I might have to go to one of their get togethers to see more 05's!

Not trying to flame you here, but just because I have different tastes doesn't mean I'm a naysayer. I don't care for Chad's paint job, but I've always wished him well. As long as he likes it, that's what's important!

Hey guys it's all good. I used to get pissed off about it, but after the response that we have been getting at shows, I feel there are no doubt more people that like it than those who dont. I have realized not everyone is going to like it, but I would say almost 100% of them who see the car in person do, so that's cool with us.
