Earlier today, I had the pleasure of meeting fellow TMS member Greg Mays, a.k.a. "GMAYS" in the forum. We took pix of our cars around Richmond, Virginia before heading up to a Mustang Cruise Meet north of town.
I had a great time getting to know Greg and discuss our cars and our plans for mods. It was also nice to see some of the classic iron at the cruise meet!
Here are a few pix:

Thanks, folks! Glad you liked 'em. Greg took some too and I hope he shares them with you...
I don't know if you can tell, but we were illegally parked in both venues! Capitol Police discreetly encouraged our departure. Traffic was very light due to the early hour.
I only wish I had the good sense to apply sunscreen before heading up to the meet. I got baked! Blasted Irish skin of mine. Should be okay in a few days (I hope).
PS - Anyone got some SPF 45?

Hey Chris did you grab that Sierra Nevada t-shirt when you came to Sacramento? I live in Chico, CA about 2 miles from the brewery. In fact I'll drink one for you tomorrow since I'm on vacation this week!
Nice looking cars BTW!

I saw a black Mustang GT parked on one of the main streets in Chico. At the time, I only had my Mustang for about a week, so it made me hate my rental even more. I missed driving my own car.
Chico is a very nice town. Very lively there, I guess because of the colleges and such. I must return, but next time I'll take my Mustang!

Chris:
It was a pleasure meeting you in person too and I enjoyed seeing Lucky and checking out your XM/iPod setups...you're making me want to spend some more $'s!!!
Your pictures look great...it was an awesome location thanks for finding it...I don't think any of mine top what you've already posted but I'll go through them one evening this week and upload any worthy candidates...too tied up with work issues to go through the pics in detail just yet. I came out without about 80 pics from our photo shoot and the cruise meet!!!
Take it easy and get some aloe for that sunburn...I too am suffering some significant skin toasting as I had to mow the yard when I got home yesterday on top of the time we had already been baking, whew.
Later,
Greg

Hey Greg, I feel badly that I didn't take pix of the other Mustangs in attendance. I was too busy gabbing (imagine that!). Nothing I like more than trading war stories with gear heads! So if you've got any pix of those other ponies, please share 'em!
The burn will last a couple of days, but it's not too bad. I hope you mend quickly as well. The WORST part of getting a burn is that everyone at work is going to chide me about it. They all know that I get burned whenever I neglect to apply sunblock before going to a car show. :ranting:

Definitely! Maybe as early as mid-August.
