Also has anyone had problems with the mole skin some shops use to not scratch the tint?

Mine are a little scratched up even with the moleskin installed, but I live in a dusty area (Oklahoma).

I got my stang used and it had tint, I'm not sure the %

In TX you can have any % on the rear, so 5% will be on the rear. I guess I'll put 20% on the sides.

I went with the lightest tint they had up front, I think it was 80% and then one shade darker 70% for the rear side and back window. Here is a before and after pic.

i really cant even see a difference. no offense but wats the point of getting it tinted if you cant see it?

 

got it done saturday. Went with 20% all around, thinking I shoulda done 15 but oh well it still looks good.

 

The point is having the front windows tinted at all is illegal and I do not want to attract unwanted attention. And I wanted to be respectful toward the police by allowing them to see inside the car yet still gain the advantage of having them tinted. Here is another picture that makes it look darker. Not to mention I do not like real dark tint as it makes it to hard to see out at night.

Also re look at the before and after pictures one is taken in very birght sunlight the other is in shaed sundown.
