I don't have a link to the actual thread, but I remember cutting & pasting the steps to my computer here at work. I tried it a couple of times, but couldn't tell any difference, but I remember several saying that they did notice a difference. Here are the steps that I had saved.....

1. Turn on car without starting the engine
2. Wait til the dash lights stabilize (some of them will turn off)
3. Step on the gas pedal in one smooth and steady motion
4. Once gas pedal hits the bottom, let go
5. Turn off car and wait 4-5 seconds
6. Turn engine on
7. Drive
8. Repeat 1-6 if it doesn't work the first time

My throtle response seemed fine before I tried this, but I did notice the "hard drive spinning" sound after I turned the car off (step 5). Maybe it does this everytime you turn the car off, I don't remember. Either way it easy and cheap enough to give a shot.

i lit candles and placed them on the dash when i did this. I also did it at 11:11pm, and I noticed a great improvement in throttle response.

I've tried this many times, and it made zero change in throttle response.
