Throttle hesitation

Yesterday i was drving doing about 70-75 without crusie control for a few mins after getting around a car there was not one on the highway for a good ways so i downshifted into 4th and put the pedal to the floor, it went then hesitated then went i know a lot of people have had this problem but dont recall how to fix it... will this work or do i need to do something else?

I previous assumed it was due to using cruise control for an extended amount of time... but it was like 2-5 mins and i didnt use cruise control?

Sounds like a classic case of TSB 06-9-9

Dropping to 4th @ 70-75 will not put you anywhere near 6,250 RPMS.

That type of lag doesn't create the stop, go, stop, go that he described.
It is almost certainly the TSB 06-9-9 Fuel Pump Problem.
The drive-by-wire lag is stomp the gas, wait a sec, then go lag

TSB 06-9-9...had the TSB done on mine and it's been great ever since. Exactly what you were describing too. The TSB even made the car seem to have more power when the A/C is running too, before it was very doggy with it on, like the computer had de-tuned itself, now it's fun to drive again even with the a/c on!!

Yep, it sounds like TSB 06-9-9. Mine did the same, had fuel pump replaced and no problems since.
