In case anybody has more money than they know what to do with, there are three GT verts at Bob Allen Ford in Overland Park, KS. All three are $6000 over MSRP. There is black/charcoal, redfire/charcoal, and redfire/parchment. I stopped in to show my girlfriend what the interior in mine would look like. The salesperson heard me talking about my order and asked me if she could steal my business. I told her that the black one was the only one I would be interested in, and since it is not the car I ordered, she would have to be able to beat my price. She asked what it was and I told her $30,500. They were asking $39,500 for the black one. She just said "have a nice evening" and walked away.

I noticed the verts in my area are selling at MSRP and not a penny less, at least they didn't go over MSRP.

I am sure any dealer other than Bob Allen around here would sell them for MSRP too. Maybe $1-2k over. I can take solace in the fact that I don't believe they wil move even GT verts for nearly $40k. I think that has surpassed the limit of even what an idiot would be willing to pay. $40k for a $32k car. HA!

Nice to know that the same redfire/parchment vert that I saw there over 2 weeks ago is still there. Maybe they will learn and knock off the dealer markup. But I doubt it.
