I am planning ot order the satin nicel aftermarket dash kit from woodcorp. But I've seen a couple of posts about nasty glare off the dash. To those with IUP, are you experiencing a problem with this?

Personally I've had trouble with the silver rings around the vents (also on non-IUP and IUP lite) reflecting sunlight in my eyes, but it doesn't seem to me like the actual dash paneling would reflect that much.

So anyway, those of you with IUP please tell me how it has been for you.

Its a ribbed surface...there should be no glare.

Ditto - no problemo, no glare.... It's a matt mahine look finish. Never had any reflection/glare problems with the chrome rings either.....

 

I hear what you're saying about the rings. They are bright - kinda wish they were the same bushed finish as the door releases. The rest of the dash is fine.

No problems with glare here either. Maybe as you already mentioned with the air vent rings. But nothing major & not a single thing from the rest of the IUP package.

I havn't had any problems either! So far I love everything about the car!

 

I've had no problems with glare off of the dash, but I have experienced some glare off of the silver finish on the spokes of my steering wheel though. It has only occured once or twice.

Nope, no glare or problems here. the aftermarket IUP dash kits though do not have the groves like in the OEM IUP. Just an FYI,
